If you have already used your Grill Guru a lot, it may sometimes need to be readjusted so that there is no smoke leakage. To adjust the lid, you can loosen the bolts on the top ring, move the lid slightly up and down a few times so that it lands properly on the dome, then retighten the bolts.
This will ensure that the kamado no longer 'leaks'. Should this not yield the desired result, please contact us via a service request. We are happy to take a look with you.
TIP: do this with 2 people! This prevents the Grill Guru from tipping over when moving the lid.
