As long as your firebox and fire ring along with your grill are stable, you can use the Grill Guru as usual, even if they were broken. This has no harmful effects. If the firebox or fire ring has become unusable, contact customer service. You can do so here.
Note: if your firebox/fire ring is broken or cracked, you cannot repair it with stove sealant, for example.
